Boris Fedorovich Borzin (1923-1991)
Boris Fedorovich Borzin was a prominent painter, art conservator, graphic artist, and historian in St. Petersburg, Russia, and was a member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists. Throughout his artistic career, Boris remained true to the best traditions of the Russian Realism school. His work was displayed in over 50 regional and national art exhibitions in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and around the world. Some of this work is permanently housed in the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, Benois Family museum in Peterhof, Museum of the HIstory of St. Petersburg and the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow. A number of his paintings were also bought by galleries and private collectors in Japan, Great Britain, France, Spain, Sweden, and Finland.
